78 - dont have the bike yet, heading to look at it this weekend, Condition looks good to new on the pipes, but will know better this weekend. I am just trying to figure out what items i might be able to sell to make it more affordable for what i am wanting to actually build.

well, I found some the other day..a looks like new set, matching Vetter fairing, hardbags and trunk with a gastank, all the same color as my 77 750A, the tank looks nicer than mine, all the lights and covers for the storage in the fairing look new...matter of fact, they're on a 77 750A in the wrecking yard so I know they'll fit... not a scratch, real nice shine, $500 for the whole set including all the brackets and keys for the locks. Just hopin my taxes get here before they're gone...but yeah, it's about location and the market, I've always wanted a "dresser" and the Auto sort of matches the style, but lotsa folks don't like the look, and they don't look right on every bike...

I see vetter fairings by themselves going from $40 to $150 on cl around here...a lot depends on the condition of the windshield and if it has brackets or not...

Where are you located.  I'd take those bags.

If the exhaust is good, hell those can fetch 200 easy. Not everyone wants to shell out 800 or more on new pipes.

I'm interested in the pipes.  If there are "lowers" on the fairing, I'd be interested in them as well.
