18 inch rim spokes
« on: March 27, 2006, 04:11:27 PM »
Hi Everyone,
I'm building a CB550 vintage race bike and I'm going to use a 18 front tire.  I'm curious if anyone would know the correct spoke length for a stock hub.  Other than Buchanan spokes is there any other supplies I could check on.
Thanks
Phillip

Until recently I used to use Buchanans and they are good. One problem is that you need to specify the nipple diameter otherwise you can end up having to drill out the rim.
I have also used Hagon's in the UK and they are OK.
As I am based in Sydney I now use Spoked Wheel Services in Perth (4000km away). Their spokes are identical to the originals.
