Today's MotoGP at Indy: Who's carrying it?
« on: September 14, 2008, 07:07:55 AM »
Comcast's cable guide lists the 250cc race but no mention of the big boys. I also checked the listings of CBS, NBC, ABC, ESPN 1 and 2 but nothing.
Does anyone know who is carrying it?
Thanks,
Jim

I see NBC covers the big boys at 3pm and the 250's are on Speed in this part of the world.

Same here Mick.

Both races (125 & MotoGP) red flagged, 250 race cancelled, was rescheduled to be run after the MotoGP but the weather won.

I went to the race today, it was awesome those guy are awesome, or nuts I am not sure which.

The red bull rookie challenge (AMA verses moto GP 125 rookies) was a good close race. it was nearly dry.

I don't know if they showed it on TV, but the Yamaha tent blew over with a lot of bike and merchandise inside it.

The lap times only fell off about 10 seconds with 60mph winds and a driving rain.

From where I setting I could see turns 10,11,12,13,14,15,16, and most of the main straight, I have some pic of the Yamaha tent and a couple short vids if any one wold like to see them.

Mark - what did you think of the sound of the MotoGP bikes, the sound is amazing trackside not like the muted sweet sound you hear on TV, I went to Donington to see them this year. Yes post pics & video's.

The sound is mind blowing, especially when they are in a pack, I love the 2 strokes but I also like the way you can pick out the different manufacturers by sound in the 4 strokes.

The Kawi's sound sick, as in bad ( and I have one) very rough sounding, The experience was awesome even in the rain.

Watching them come out of the last turn, square it up, and carry the front tire half way down the main stretch even in the rain. It was the best race experience I have ever paid for.

I will have to get my wife photo bucket info, then I will post a couple pics and vids, but don't get your hopes up they are not much but they do have sound
