Any suggestions on where to go/what to do for a couple of days while I'm there?

I live here in Paradise. When will you be here and what kind of actvities are you looking for - rides, good food, peeler bars, touristy things?

Seaweb11 is just a short ride north then a minor ferry ride across. He has GOOD cold beer there  ;D
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Are you staying downtown? You could go to the Sticky Wicket pub in the Strathcona Hotel on Douglas St. ttp://www.strathconahotel.com/the_sticky_wicket_pub___restau.html  We've enjoyed the food there. You won't want to be there at closing, too many young guys after too many beers and testosterone. Another good pub is the Bard & Banker on Government St. http://www.bardandbanker.com/  They often have live music. It is a bit touristy but the Royal Museum is a great place to spend a couple of hours. Good walk on the breakwater. We have enjoyed the Rum Runner pub in Sidney as well, about 20 kms. north of Victoria. For a louder venue the Days Inn on Bellvue, just west of the Parliament Building often has a live band in the bar. if it's a sunny day the Inner Harbour area is very nice.

Not sure where we will be staying. I'm coming via boat, so wherever there is a large harbor......

Damn Cliff, doesn't look like I'll make it this time. Port call was canceled due to current operations.
We may be doing a bike trip up that way this summer though.....
