New here, sayin' hey.
« on: February 04, 2011, 09:26:53 AM »
Just sayin hello. Great forum from what I've seen for an iconic milestone motorcycle.
Only bike I own right now is a 1988 Honda CR500R that I've converted to an ET bracket bike, but hey, at least it's a Honda.

Hey Keith! I have an '82 CR480R that I bought new. They're pretty awesome! I've toyed with the idea of setting it up for drag racing before, but never was serious. What kind of times and speeds are you doing?

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Thanks Sam. I had my CR up to 85 once, clocked by my buddy's XR 500. It still had a wee bit left in it, with the stock gearing, but as it was on a dirt road, it was fast enough! ;)
