Work it out with johnie.  ;D  As long as we have one of each then we are good.  Need a nom first, then a second and then an accept or deny.

I think Terry in Australia has two more bikes and both are hot!  One is ribbed for pleasure and then he has a SS.

Thanks guys, I'm honored to be nominated.  Full disclosure here though, that bike was nominated back in June, 2010, if that matters.  And it doesn't look the same anymore.  It is now blue/green.  I started working on restoring my sandcast #97 last fall which was originally red.  So I moved the blue/green from my K0 to the nominated red sandcast so I could use the red on #97.  I'm planning on doing the K0 in gold.  (Sometimes I even get confused).  So if that's all OK, I humbly accept.  If not, no worries.  It's a great compliment and motivation to do a good job on my current project.
Thanks,
Mark ;D

If a bike was nominated and did not win, it can be re-nominated again.  The only rule on this (SOHC4 membership voted on this) is that it must wait a month before being re-nominated.  I think you are in the clear here.

Re-nominating bikes is actually quite helpful in the BOTM.  Sometimes we just can't find bikes to nominate.  Members have gone back through the older BOTM's looking for suitable bikes to be in the contest.

If we only have one bike at the end of the nomination period (Nom, Second & Accept), that bike is not an automatic winner.  What happens is that there is not a BOTM contest for that month and the nominee waits for the next BOTM month.  Here, they are automatically entered into the BOTM contest and do not need to be re-nominated, Seconded and Accepted again.

Btw Mike, is that the right picture of the bike and is that current?  I ask because that is the one I will use at the beginning of the voting thread.  Let me know what one you wish me to use in this thread if it is different.

Oh and thanks jaguar and johnie more making that easier one me.

I assume you meant Mark.  That pic was current as of the restoration completion.  I actually don't have any shots of it yet after the color change.

I am shocked by the nomination. I am not finished yet and still have to rechrome the fenders and buy new pipes. Mark B. deserves it this month, but I will accept.

The new chain arrives this week to replace the rusty original and I will technically be able to ride it around the neighborhood and tweak it. The only major items remaining are rechroming the fenders and buying HM300 pipes. May cash out some annual leave as they are so expensive.

Just the two ready for the road right now.  Have been collecting parts for a 750 build, well x2 actually.  Hope to have the basket case K3 ready by late May.  The 2nd 750 will take alot longer, just starting to map out the design, and collect the parts now.  It will be the bike that makes the next trip to Pomona. ;) :)
