Strange washer with photo.
« on: February 04, 2011, 01:42:33 PM »

You guys are so good at photo questions.....
I will prefice this to say I have been in my "washer box" in the past few days, but this one was sitting away from that area. Not to say I didn't move it over there?

Is this thick washer from a Honda, because if it isn't it has to be from my Suzuki 1100 project and I have no idea where it goes?  It is tapered on the bottom side.

When I posted a washer pic everyone wnated something in the photo for scale so we can see how big it is. Muffler bearing washer from a 47 henway? Seriously, I don't remember seeing one on a 750. But I haven't looked at all of them.

Hi.I believe what your pic represents is a washer used on various Honda models but specifically on the clutch basket shaft of CB750.It is placed under the lock tab washer that holds the clutch assembly on the primary shaft.    Rock On

Must be from a later 750. The ones on my K1's are thinner, kind of humped up and don't say out on the them. Interesting whay you can find on the floor, like those tiny o-rings after you've buttoned up the motor.  :o

I want to say it fits inside the centrifugal filter of a 350, between the filter & nut. They were mean to be a bit of a spring washer when the nut was tightened.

The cupped thick washer is from under circular nut in the CL350 centrifugal oil cleaner.  It should be returned there.
