coil/plug set?

The plug wires are pretty trashed. Can you rebuild these or should I just buy a used one off ebay? Are they available new? From where? Used they are 50$ off ebay so I am guessing new is a lot more. Suggestions?

Hmmm... don't see a thing wrong with your coils... except you need new plug caps, about $20 from Z1 Ent.
Have you tested them ( coils ) ?..... do you know they are bad ( rare )?......... I'd put the money elsewhere on your bike , IMO

I wasn't positive if I could change just the caps? Which caps from Z1? If I can just change the caps I will do that. Trying to get this thing going as cheap as possible right now.

Sure
.... you need 2x SD05F ( straight caps ) and 2x VD05F ( angled caps ) from Z1..... I would cut back each plug wire about 1/4 inch before screwing the new caps into the wires....
... done; good as new
Now let's talk about your ignition, gaps/timing........
... need to post what your bike is in your profile.

You might find something that works at for OReiley, Advanced Auto Part, or Autozone. Some sell the wire by the foot in different thickness. You might also be able shop for assorted colors of wires if you are color concious.

You some pic's of the more customized bikes with non stock plug wires. I would figure out if the coil is actually dead and work from there with what you can find as replacement.
As a previous poster said, on the old bikes money is better spent elsewherse. I think plug wire is $2 a foot.
