question about CB seats
« on: February 05, 2011, 01:34:33 PM »
Hey all, I just replaced the old ripping seat cover on my cb550 (ill post some pics when it stops raining here in Tampa) but it didnt come with one of those belts that separates the front from rear sections. I was searching around for where to get one, and not only could I not find one, I realized that I had no idea what that part was really called! Haha. Ill post a pic in case you guys dont know what Im talking about, but really I think its pretty obvious. Thanks!

Contact any one of the numerous new seat cover sellers on ebay..........try to get one with a cotton fabric liner. If you need the chrome ends, or a complete strap look further on ebay........

I just wonder... has there been any of you that actually used that strap... ever? When I am a passenger I find it much safer to use the grabrail behind me. IMO the strap is useless, but - I must confess - it's still on.
