I have a 71 sohc and need to know which wire runs where. These coils have a yellow positve side and a black negative side. How do I hook it up?

+ Yellow wire to points
1 (50%)
- black wire to points
1 (50%)

Dual fire universal emgo coils

I have a 71 sohc and need to know which wire runs where. These coils are emgo universal for like kz1000s and such, they have a yellow + side and a black - side. How do I hook it up? WHich wire runs where/to what?

I use OEM replacement coils for early 80's Hondas (they have replaceable plug wires) from Partsnmore.com.  The coils aren't marked + or - and it doesn't seem to matter which way I hook the wires.

the + is the harness wire with a double female connector. the - connects to the points with colored wires that have a single terminal.
