Hey Coordinators!

I'm giving Popwood a hand with his blogging.  I'm going to be the keeper of the calendar for the entire relay!  I'll track actual dates as Godzilla moves along.  I'll also pull together a "Best Guess" calendar of future dates!

This is where you, the regional and ride coordinators, come in.

Please send me a list of your significant milestones.  Milestones being where you intend to take the handoff, spend an overnight (city only), meet with vendors, run around a race track, attend a show, accept a key to a city, give a speech at your hall of fame induction and/or give the handoff to the next team.  If you have actual dates and times, AWESOME!  Otherwise just give me the relative ride day.  I'd rather not publish names or even forum handles for safety reasons.  Put those details in the log books.

Include stops where you think people reading the blog may be able to find you to safely meet you and join the ride, but nothing so specific that criminals will know where to go to pilfer vintage parts while you eat or sleep!

Examples:

4-18 Godzilla will be sleeping in OKC
4-19, in DFW
4-20, in Austin
4-22, in Lubbock
4-23, in Las Cruces
4-24, in PHX
4-25, in Kingman
4-26, in Rosamond
4-27, in SLO

handoff from team Ontario, Allen Park MI, Giant Tire, Day 1,  at noon
Dam Site Tavern, Hell, MI, Day 1, 2pm to 3pm
Overnight, Interlochen, MI,   Day 1
Great Escapes Motorsports, Traverse City, MI, Day 2, 10am to noon
Overnight, Sault St. Marie, Day 2
...
Handoff to Team Wisconsin, Iron Mountain, MI, Day 4 at noon

I’ll pull the data together and put it in a PDF file for Popwood to include in blogs.

It’s understood that all dates and locations are tentative!  But high quality data now will help downstream coordinators and riders get their plans together!

Thanks in advance for you prompt attention to this project!

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

OldSchool, try to keep the calender as simple as possible. The details will be covered on the regional threads.

Popwood, concentrate on the current region; take it one step at a time.  ;)

Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
