BSA Restoration Resource Needed in New York Area

Guys, I had a friend call me a few days back wanting me to restore a 60's something BSA 650 Thunderbolt. The bike is in New York, so it really doesn't make sense to ship it all the way here and then back. Plus I really don't want to do it.

Can you suggest some shops that can handle the restoration, are reputable, and in the north east?

Inputs greatly appreciated.

I know someone very close to me but it is 50 miles west of Philly.  He and his father designed a belt drive for Triumph twins and have resurrected many old Brit bikes.

That BSA has serious potential...Larry

I totally agree Larry. Very cool bike and it is in decent shape.

Guys, I want to thank all for your inputs. She has decided to ship it down here to a neighbor of mine who has several of these and I can keep a watch on the progress/spending for her. I know she'll be happy with the work and he will not over-charge her. He just so happens to be a long-time and close friend of mine, so we'll all happy.
