thats the problem with my liquid cooled rotax head, concept from stoneage or so...
Daiber et uno once had +90hp with this head, but: the head cast, sawed into pieces, welded together, milled,....thats more work i am willing to do
....+70hp reliability is the next issue.
maybe i will build one more engine: air cooled head with double in-ports. should be good for ~70hp.
the liquid cooled rotax is raced from time to time (liquid cooling is not allowed in the GrabTheFlag series). last weekend we had our first rollout in rijeka. my friend robert (he has three children, the carbs are no danger any more) raced the bike. 3 races, 3 victories. racers level not in the MotoGP class however.
next race for the dohc rotax will be Rupert Hollaus Gedenkrennen Reb Bull Ring, Austria. the aircooled one races at GTF Slovakiring (end of June).
