If you guys end up in London, holler at me.  I can be there in ten minutes from my house. It's not much to look at other than the lake and nuclear plant, though.

I need a set of tires before I feel comfortable riding too far from home.

Wixil, we will have to wait until we are ready to leave LR since we will be at the mercy of the Miss/La rider on the time he gets to LR

I may have another to tag along for a few miles.  Ran into a local guy a few weeks back that rides a CB500F, so I contacted him about the ride.   He's waiting on sprockets and a chain, but he sounded interested.

we brought him a battery and had to leave him there.. they didn't have any batteries for his bike .. I think the charging system was working BUT the battery wouldn't hold a charge .. after he got it started he could run it for a bit but seemed like any other electrical use would kill the bike.  He was going to put a charge on the battery we brought and hope that he got out today.  We didn't bet back to Van Buren until 1:35 as it was, so we just unfortunately had to leave him back at his hotel with his wife and bike.

I hope he got it started and is able to head home today.

Glad you guys made it one piece.   I bet that was a long ride on a 350, Coke.   Your rear end is tougher than mine.

it was long and it was dark but it was fun.. Radam and I tore up 270 from Hot Spings to Y City in the middle of the night.  If he hadn't been leading I think I could have taken those corners faster on the 350. LOL LOL  just kidding, Radam cooked my ass but i did my best to keep up on that 350.  I need to fire up my little 650 ninja and take the pig trail with Radam some time.. every body else better just watch out.

That sounds like a plan, Coke. I could tell the whole time that you wanted to go just a little faster, but that little 350 was pouring it's heart out for you. I was very impressed at how fast it went. It was hard for me to tell how far behind me you were sometimes. That little bar end mirror can be hard to judge distance with at night. We'll have to go to the pig trail or just go out 270 again to go canoe the Ouachita sometime.

Wixil, I'm sorry we didn't get to include you. Maybe sometime we can get together and ride. If you want to make it to the vintage breakfast club sometime we do it the last Saturday of every month. This month it's the 30th at Uncle Gaylords (it's a restaurant) in Fayetteville at 9:30am. If you want to come in town the night before I'm sure I can talk my wife into letting you stay with us.

I'll definitely make it to one of the breakfast meetings.  I have some friends in Goshen I stay with sometimes, so I can always hit them up for the spare room.  I've got to be in Texarkana the 30th of this month, but I'll see if I can free up my weekend for the club meeting in May.
