Quick update before I have to leave the state for the weekend!

Wiring is almost done!!! I ran out of connector ends, rolf! Who knew they'd go so fast  ??? but, Accessory, kill, run, and start switches are all hooked up... just need to get them running to the battery, and starter coils, and in theory I'll be running on Gold!!!! For the record, if you plan on doing this, and aren't 100% electrical savvy, like myself, I heavily recommend getting a multimeter to test your connections, specifically one that can test a connection from 'Point A' to 'Point B' without it needing to be hooked to a battery.

It sucks that I have to leave this weekend, I would've really liked to ballpark the rest of the wiring this weekend, but I'm hoping throughout the next week I'll have it done... if it works out okay, I'll let you all know, and I'll make a custom wiring chart that you guys looking to do your own can look at, to make things a bit easier.

 ;D

So... been awhile all... I will be killing this post, however, great news! I will be attending Ohio's: Ohio Technical College and taking part in the PowerSports Institute program.

While there, I will learn fabrication, welding, assembly, repair, engine / carb building, wiring, and painting. All the skills I need to complete a bike from scratch... The schools final project for my particular field of study will be building a bike from the ground up, and I have been told I can use my CB550 for the final project.

When this happens, it will be taken down to the frame, and I will include a step by step of EVERYTHING I do... even if there's engine rebuilding, etc... My classes start in July, so in about a year, I hope to have a full guide to building a 550 from the ground up!

Thanks for all the forum support, best of luck to any building noobies, and I will still be posting things from time to time.

Wish me luck!  ;D
