carb install on a 1978 cb550k

It has been a long time since this bike has been together - I have forgotten where the carb tubes go. It seems there are two fuel lines - is this true? or is one for something else?

The 77-78 carbs have two up facing nipples.  The larger one is fuel inlet the smaller one is a bowl vent tube.
