Brake parts blasting advice needed
« on: March 08, 2011, 08:08:00 PM »
Hey all, I am taking a box of brake parts to get blasted this week, here is what I am taking....

Front caliper
Caliper bracket
Oil preasure elbow (dont know the technical term)
Master cylinder

My question is, how concerned should I be about the medium getting trapped in crucial parts (especially the master cylinder)? Also, what should I request the type of medium be for these aluminum parts? And one last question, should I clean the parts to be free of debris before I take it in or wait till after? If you cant tell, this is the first time I have had anything sandblasted  :)
