Topic: Seats that fit 1978 750k?

Just bought a 1978 750k and it has a big double Travelcade seat on it but I want a factory seat.

What other year seat pans will fit my 78 750k? It doesn't have to be the correct 1978 seat cover, any flat factory style seat will work for me since they all look much better than what's on it now.

77/78 k Seats are interchangeable. other years will not fit.

Just use your seat pan and have it redone take pictures of stock design with you and get them to cut the front height for your inseam

If you remove the cover from the current seat you may find the original, stock foam might have been used as the foundation for the current seat. Remove the overly sculpted foam from the original base foam if possible and replace the covering with a stock shaped covering. If the entire foam is custom you still might be able to sculpt the stock shape from it and use a stock shaped covering.

Buy a good seat, you won't regret it. My K7 came with a seat like yours but in poor cond, I tossed it and bought a nice one.

From what I could tell after years of searching for a seat for my '78 550k is that the 77-78 k's seat PANS are interchangeable, but the 78 model's seat has the slightly-elevated rear passenger design, whereas the 77 is the flat, more traditional Honda CB seat.  That's what I saw anyway.
