Ha ha ha, brilliant...only Carpy (and his old man of course!) would attempt to change history and invent the cafe racer for themselves! Funny as f***.  well done Carpy, well done!
In my own experience...
It wasn't a Previous Owner who didnt know what he was doing that messed up your bike, it was The Previous owners mate who THOUGHT that HE did.

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Funny thing about regret is...... its better to regret something you have done than to regret something you haven't done.

Classic.  I am going to show it to my friends who don't ride so they can all be "basically a professional cafe racer."  This is basically how it sounded the first time Al Gore discussed his invention of the internet.

boo :'(

all ive done is put clubmans on keeping the internal wiring. decked the head, lapped the valves, ported and polished a pound out of the head and intake runners. rejetted for pods so it burns coffee on the plugs. cut and welded my pan so it sits up to the kz900 rear loop i welded in, but also utilizes the stock hinges, registration pocket and frame protectors. not to mention all that other stupid stuff like pulling every engine cover off to hand polish, and paint my tank and side panels. i should had just gone to bcr. now ill never have a cool cafe racer like everyone else.

great vid
