I am in the process of selecting a bar for my 1976 CB750F.

Like to see what everyone has out there.

Post up pics of your handle bars. or e-mail them to me.

i can't show you mine 'cause they're not here yet, but it think these tomaselli adjustable bars are the bees knees. they're like clubmans, but you can get 'em up if your back won't let you kiss the tank all day. this bike on ebay has 'em.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4626576882&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
and this is someone who has 'em for sale.

food for thought.  ;)

The bars on my bike are the "Daytona" bars from Flanders..
I got them powdercoated black from the factory, then cut 1'' off the ends to
shorten them up a bit. They are nice becasue they dont brake my back, like
clubmans would...

15.00 dollar cheapies, 27" drag bars with 3.5" pull back.  I had to get a little creative with cable routing ever thing works out.
The close-up pic shows the banjo fitting flipped up and M/C is tilted a little but everything works fine.

Old bars (pic #21): about a 2" rise.  Scrunched over too much, back hurt.

New bars (pic #828): stock.  About a 4" rise and a bit more swept back.  Much more comfortable.

Damn!  I just noticed I put my mirrors on backwards!  No wonder they're such a #$%* to adjust properly.  Duh.

CSENDER, I don't think you can put these mirrors on backwards.

Well, not actually backwards.  I guess I would have noticed the chrome instead of the mirror.  But they are tapered, and they used to be pointy side out.  Now I have them pointy side in.  I've been having trouble getting them set right and staying there.  I think I'll flip them and see if I can see better.

Home made clip ons.   I'm making new ones soon cause my back doesn't like these.  I guess I'm getting old.

Hey are those clip-ons made from 550 rods?

<--- I've got drag bars like m.blasty's and daytonas.  I keep switching back and forth but like the drags best.

Thumbs up mrblasty.  I have the same bars in chrome, unfortunetly they're on my workbench instead of the 550.

A guy down the street from me has the same drag bars on his 550 but he mounted them with the ends down, makes for a less aggressive clubman look. I may get another set and try it out.

In a fit of rage over a carb. issue, I had it for sale on Craigslist Portland about a month ago.  Had zero offers, I even low balled myself(ouch!).  I've decided to polish it up and stare longingly at it in my garage until I put the new needles in the carb.  I owe it the work, it's our anniversary.

That being said, I'd turn it out like a bee-otch on the street for the right price (one large).

Me, I might be able to handle the drag bars but I know I could handle the bars that
ProTeal has on his. I hesitate to mention that I've got a 73' RD350 but, I am because the bars
that are on it are exactly what I like. I'm not sure what you'd call them, theye're a low profile
and just wide enough. I never could get used to clip ons (tried them on my CB72 once & that
was enough) and now, I'm sure the clubman's wouldn't cut it either. Don't get me wrong, I
really like the look of the clubmans and the clip ons. Later on, Bill

I. opted for "euro" bars that are a copule inches lower than the stockers and pull back at more of an angle.  They're low enough so that  I can comfortably get down at high speed and just high enough that my back doesn't start to hurt during normal riding.  I think they look alot cooler than the high'n'wide stock bars too.

Ian, That's the kind of bars I need and for the same non-back breaking reason.

400F w/ clip ons

The original master cylinder got in the way, so it's replaced with a remote reservoir type from a CBR900RR.
Also running a bicycle speedo.  I haven't made any top speed runs, but it works pretty well up to 65-70 mph.

ZERO OFFERS! I am so pissed off right now.  >:( Seriously, I sent you like four nutcase-stalker e-mails begging you to sell it to me! Unfortunately I went out and bought a bike I don't like as much for almost twice what you had your bike up for on hippie-ebay. If only we could turn back time. Since I can't have it, my advice would be to put it back up, but put an add in the Seattle list too and ask $2000. I guarantee you it will sell fast. It is so hard to find a decent sohc4 north of the mighty Columbia. Good luck whatever you decide.  :P ;)

I've tried most bars at one time or another and always come back to these.  A couple inches of rise and pull  back.
