Well, I don't write for anyone. I just like to write. I would probably post it up here somewhere with some pics and maybe send it to that classic motorcycle mag or something like that. I may just make a little list of questions to ask different riders about what they've done to their bikes. Maybe I can get it in a mag somewhere and next year it will be a bigger event? I really like riding and taking pics, so even if I flake on the article I'll try to get some good pics.  ;D

Sounds good to me.

just for the record, I am pretty solid at 3 riders including myself. I am working on more.

I guess I didn't realize there would be that many people willing to follow most of the rules and still take off the days needed for the ride.

Let me know if you need any fliers, or anyone else for that matter. I work at a print shop and can print them for pennies.

I think our bikes fit the criteria. 74 cb750. Slightly modified. 75 cb 750 mostly stock abd a 76 bmw 75/6 stock with solo seat and hard bags. Does not really fit into the look i think your after but they are all fairly close to the criteria.

I'm not really after a look, and I hope I haven't conveyed that image too much. I actually prefer more stock cb750s and BMWs over the cafe versions. Here's a pic of the 78k I tinkered/rode last year. I just like simple, affordable, and functional bikes.

Here's a new build I will start after I finish the kz400 project with a cl350 donor.

I'm stuck at work during the ride, but I'll be down for meeting up in Russellville.  I'm waiting on wheel bearings and a chain, but I'll cobble something together to at least ride to the hotel/bar.  If I have to push it down there I will, so my Honda can at least make an appearance.

If someone would have made this happen at a reasonable time of the week I would have been in for sure.   ;)

I agree.

That's crazypants!

I know it's not the easiest schedule for most, so if I decide to do it again next year, it will be weekend oriented.

But of course. I'll start selling my new house to fund the trip.

I recommend the ride be on saturday from 11:15 am to 11:30 am. I used a computer ( PC not mac) to come up with the most widely acceptable time. this is what it said. The location decided by computer  was in front of my house.

I think me and the other Brad Green are going to meet before 9:30 to eat some breakfast. He's supposed to call me when he gets close and we will go from there. Wanna join?

I'll see. I am going to have leave my place about an hour prior to departure time there so what time are you thinking to eat and what time to leave. I do like to eat breakfast......

I'd have to say that the caliber of bikes I witnessed at Hawthorn Park was way beyond what I expected.  Way to go gents.  I seriously hope no one witnessed my less than subtle escape towards home.
