Upon reassembly with a fully functional cam chain tensioner assembly( lock/adjuster bolts removed, horseshoe works well(not stuck) cam in and timed, front guide in place, plastic end pieces in position on the rear tensioner/guide) I cant get the rear guide/tensioner retaining cap down flush to the cylinder head with the travel I get out of the horseshoe as I press down the guide/tensioner. I am like 7-8 mm away and I am afraid to get the rest of the travel by cinching those retaining bolts down into that soft aluminum cylinder head..Is this normal??? Thanks!
