Cb350K0 Wanted
« on: January 04, 2011, 02:15:42 PM »
I have decided that when I have finished restoring my 10/69 CB750K0 I am going to restore one last bike. A CB350K0 twin 1968-69. I reckon I will have to import one from the US as the ones in the UK will be much too far gone. I am ideally looking for a really low mileage completely original one to restore. What's the going rate in the US for one of these?

Cheers

Ash

Too much. Anything with the letters "CB" in front of it sells at a premium in the states right now. It's one of the reasons I've moved to other bike manufacturers right now.

I have one, but it's not in any way a candidate for a restore (nor is it for sale :) )
No.

Nonsense, you can find a nice CB350 K0 for $1000 or less no problem. Finding one on ebay for that price might be a bit more difficult, but if you're looking for a project and not a pristine original, you should be fine.

Considering you could ge a nice K0 for 250 bucks a few years ago, I call it premium. Similar bikes from other makers sell at 400 or less all day long.

There's one for sale in my shop. Can't remember the year, though. If it's a K0, do you want me to ask the owner? She wants to sell it.

Yes I know its a lot but it's the bike I had in the 70's (k2,K3 and K4) and I reckon the right bike restored will be a real gem to have. If anyone knows of one that's a nice example then please let me know.

Cheers

near big citys the hipster movement has eaten up Cbs and driven the prices way up
and they LOVE the cb350 as the 4 cylinders scare them,  they have only ever been on a BMX bike
and the singles seem to small

if it runs, drives and has a title it will sell same day in NYC for 1000-1500.
then in two days its in a million pieces on the floor of some guys apartment while he builds a kick ass cafe.
then he posts on a forum looking for a "cafe kit"

I know of this one that's for sale. I think it's a 69. No title. It's gotten a bit rough from sitting. PM me if you want more info.

Thanks for showing me this but it would need too much spending on it I suspect to warrant importing to the UK.

I am looking for something like this:

Not quite a K0 but a 1970 for $600.  These show up often enough more so in the summer and they seem to go for $500-$1200 around here.

There is also an AHRMA vintage racing class for the 350. That will eat them up at a pretty good clip. A friend and I are starting to horde them just for that purpose.
