Just started this build a couple weeks ago and so far not to bad. Painted frame, new fork seals, clean/paint/polish all parts.

Cool deal man. Let me make a suggestion. Get a photobucket account, its free, and then we can see the full size pictures. What are your plans for the bike? Lucky you live in LA there are so many resources so close at hand. My bike is down there right now getting exhaust made for it.

haha yea i just uploaded to my old PB account but wasn't sure how large i could go. You are right about resources around LA, i am about 10min from Yoshi's shop The Garage Company. Where are you having your exhaust made at? and what type are you having them build?
My plans are just doing all the work myself at least as much as possible. I am keeping the stock dual exhaust but painting them flat black by taking off the chrome first, never attempted that before so we'll see how thats comes out.

Ok so i attempted to install my engine today by myself since it was raining and i was off work. The challenge was engine was up on a work table and needed to be down lower to fit in the bike. I bought a winch from HomieDepot and connected to the rafters and a floor jack in the garage. Used some tie downs raping the motor raping some rags around the frame to prevent scratching and it took a little messing with but got it in.
