lumbee, are you in birmingham?
barber was just opening up when I moved up to minnesota. I've been to the old museum, but I'm assuming it is now at the racetrack?

...naw, I'm in Baton Rouge...I rode with the wifey up there for a conference she was attending.  The museum overlooks a race track, so I'm assuming its the same one u'r talking about.  Nice Indy style track..the whole facility is on the east side of Birmingham.  They were racing carts when I was there on Friday...these weren't just regular old go-carts though...these guys had to pushing 75-80 mph...

For the CB750 owners there are (were) two beautiful Sandcast CB750s on display. One a Vic World restoration and a replica of the 1970 Daytona wining bike. The Museum is well worth a visit.

...thats still an affirmative Frank...I wasn't as impressed when I found out the sandcast didn't roll off the line in Japan, but still nice to see one in person..

I was at the Barber Museum last September. I spent 2 hours there and realized I need an entire day to take it all in. I plan on another trip this year. Awesome place.

Yes, thanks again for the pics. I'll get there someday. It's supposed to be a great bike track, lots of rider safety in mind.
