GL1000 brake caliper springs source needed
« on: July 28, 2011, 10:03:51 PM »
Can anybody send me in the right direction here? I am converting my front end to a GL1000 and am in the process of sourcing parts. I am trying to find caliper parts and need the spring that holds the pads in place but its apparently unavailable, P/N 45108-371-006 . Any help would be great!

I dont think that will work. The number is a little different and it lists as a spring for a GL1500.

Ebay is probably the only way mate.
You'll have to get calipers complete and strip them out.
There are a lot listed from time to time and you should be able to get them at a reasonable price.
Here is a couple of ebay listings that came up with a quick search.
