Fonzie prototype in Evel Knievel
« on: April 02, 2006, 01:31:34 PM »
I just saw "Evel Knieve"l movie again, this time in DVD and I can't escape the fact that his early school year depiction played by George Hamilton looked a lot like what influenced the Fonzie character in Happy Days later, except that real George Hamilton can ride motorcycles, Henry Winkler couldn't.

Evel is cool! Even had one of his wind up motorcycles as a kid...

but Fonzy might have been onto something with motorcycle riding Pinky Tuscadero!

My favorite Fonzie scene was the season when Linda Purl played his motorcycle hating girlfriend. I even created a fictional character based on her on my own Angels 750 motorcycle comics series.
