That is a beauty Stev-o! Love the color too. Chevelle had a phantom blue with white stripes that looked like your color.

I'm surprised no one asked for a pic under the hood. She is clean there too. Check it out...

Very clean...I spot the GM orange painted block, factory AC car and OEM exhaust manifolds.
Maybe one little change to headers might be nice, but that is just me!
Does it have original type mufflers? A lot of guys put on Flowmasters.

Awesome car Johnie, you are a lucky man!

I can tell you know your vintage cars Stev-o! Yes, that is the OEM Harrison AC in there. I'm glad the OEM exhaust manifolds are still there. I will leave it too. Car sounds pretty nice with what I have there.

Yes, totally understand since it is all original ['cept for the Flowmasters]

Ran across this ad yesterday, is this the blue color you mentioned earlier in the thread?

PS.  Will you put the car up soon for the winter?  I dont, this is the best time of year for cruising!

Stev-o it looks like yours is a bit darker than the phantom blue. What do you think? Or maybe it's just the lighting. Regarding winter, I plan to drive it as long as there has not been any salt placed on the roads. Had it out this week a couple times. After the roads are salted we all know that is death to a vehicle up here. It won't come out of the shop until a couple spring rains clean the roads. It will be kept in my heated shop and I will do some things on it during the cold weather.

Yes, for sure, it is not Phantom Blue.  The Corvette color is Bridgehampton Blue.

How long have you had that Vette Stev-o? Didn't you say your buddy was picking up a Chevelle a while back?

Will be three years next month, Johnie, since I got the Corvette.

Yes, my good friend received a '66 Chevelle for his birthday this past February
[I helped his wife find/buy it] 454 4spd, fully restored, awesome car.

And then last month, same friend bought this '69 on AutoHunter, it's an auction site.

Funny story: he didnt realize the car was in Canada when bidding and there was quite a lot of paperwork and expense to import to U.S!  [should be finally here next week]

I think it was quite a good buy at $31K!
