Maybe you should sit on the can and not in it.

shure.

I ordered some gold anodized wheels for my sl. So Excited. They are used and were very cheap so we will see how bad they are. I am thinking 18 on the front and 18 on the back. may have issues with the ride height with these forks however. time will tell.

Dont know. I am going to buy a condensor set and if that doesnt fix it. I may splurge and buy a set of dynas. I am watching a stock set for a cb450 on ebay that I may snag too so we'll see. Im kind of thinking super motard for the sl but not real sure how it will look. I just have to put it together and go from there.

Save your money on the dynas and get a pair of these instead. Also, I may have a spare condenser set you can use to test out the coils. I can bring them this weekend if you want.

Thanks, unfortunately I pulled it apart so no testing for now. I am working on it so when I get the engine back in I will holler at you and see if you still have them.

They aren't going anywhere. I'll bring them this weekend, so when you are ready they will be there. I won't be needing them any time soon that I know of.

I sent my friend Blake (brickman on here) a message about the meet this month. I wouldn't expect him to go, but hopefully he'll start riding with you guys soon. He's a new rider so he's a little nervous to go ride with a bunch of veterans. He has been riding a lot lately, so maybe he'll be ready soon. He has a 81 Honda cb750 dohc. He has been having a bit of idle issues. I think he just needs to sync the carbs. He said he may be bringing it to a guy to get that done soon. Other than that the bike has been great since it got going. It would be a good candidate for the scramble. He's got less than $1000 in it. You guys should get him to start riding with you, then talk him into doing the scramble. Someone have a vegetarian breakfast for me, or at least don't put sugar in your coffee.

I'll put meat in my coffee and sugar on my biscuits just for you bud.

He needs to just ride with us and see if it's going to be as bad as he thinks. He can ride in the back and keep his own pace.

Just tell him to swerve a lot and establish his own personal bubble.  Peeing on other people's bikes helps establish dominance also.

I've told him all that before, but I think he's afraid he'll do something to embarrass himself. I rode with him his first few rides and he was doing great. I gave him a few pointers about when to shift, but other than that it was smooth sailing. I told him it's better to ride with experienced riders because you can learn from them. Patrick knows him so maybe he can talk him into riding. I guess you all need to get Pat to ride with you too. I miss riding, and getting strange looks when I order no meat and soda water.

The best way to accomplish both is to pee and swerve while riding at the head of the pack.

I just called Patrick to have him convince Blake to come on out and also let Jonathan know.

Cool. I hope they can do it. Blake needs to get in a good group. Well, I think I'm about to go for a jog then get back to the job hunt. It's about 20 after 8am here on a beautiful Tuesday morn.
