I've got one crummy one off the 360 that I just replaced.  I'll check the 350 after work and see what it looks like.

Thanks.

I got my big parts order in, and may have it by Friday. Going to take some measurements today, but will probably be ordering mufflers this afternoon as well.

Sorry I couldn't offer up my mufflers.  I can't find anything that suits the 2-into-1, and there are bigger fish to fry at the moment.  You wouldn't have like those mufflers anyhow.

No worries. You are correct that they wouldn't be what I want anyways, and I'm pretty finicky with the finished look. I'm deciding if I want to run the shorties I have for now or just bite the bullet and spend close to a Benjamin on the ones I really want.

Talked to Jonny yesterday. Apparently he bought a sailboat, so he might miss the ride.

That's a good plan.  I ended up ordering some packing to wrap around the mini baffles I'm running now.  It would have been mucho easier to just have waited to find what I was really looking for.

Failed attempt at getting the bike going. Rushed the whole scenario. Carbs weren't clamped down, janky fuel line setup, etc. Going to spend the evening getting all of the little stuff buttoned down now so it can breath properly. I have a feeling the timing is off a bit too, so that's not helping much.

IDIOT ghaw

I know right?

BTW I was thinking about the sl you got. I think they came stock with 525 pitch sprocket/chain. Weight savings equals a race bike bro.

Double roller is where it's at.

motor has a shiney new helocoil and a new sparkplug that I hope never requires replacement. I need to finish up cleanup on the frame and get a bracket welded on for the brake fluid resevoir. I am seriously considering having the lesters sand blasted. I like the looks of the dull aluminum. we shall see what time permits.

Very cool.  I worked one summer in an aluminum foundry, and I totally know what you mean about it.  I have an affinity for rough casting mixed with a touch of polished bits.

Officially got the cl350 running tonight. Apparently clamping down the carbs and getting proper fuel lines hooked up fixed all the problems. I got a good idle until I ran out of gas. Should have some time to tune throughout the week and get it somewhat rideable through the hood. I may need to find a spare shift lever for the time being though.

It's pretty loud at the moment with no mufflers on it. Scared the little one when it first fired up. Surprised me the first primer kick too. I thought I had the key off, but it fired up and I quickly realized it was in the on position. For some dumb reason I haven't hooked the throttle cable up yet, so it was kinda touch and go getting it to idle at first. Sounds good, and both pipes were getting warm evenly. Unfortunately the spare gas can was close to empty, so I figure I can mess with it more tomorrow.

I was all like "dang" when it ran.

I should have done this a year ago.
