Don't have a spanner for you, but we will be having the next breakfast meet at Grandma's Cafe closer to you this Saturday at 10am.

Grandma's Cafe
21588 S Highway 71
Winslow, AR 72959

Anyone want to meet in Fayetteville around 8:30ish before heading that way? Radam, Rick, Daphne, etc.?

I did exactly that, and the bolts still bent.  How far down do you have to drill?

I might be able to make it, but it doesn't look like my bike will with the way this week is looking.  Is that kosher?

No it's just your garden variety dill from what I can tell.

I'll rephrase that to the form of an Awesome-proof question.   Would it be an issue if I didn't ride my motorcycle to the breakfast meeting due to it being incapacitated?

It's ok to drive a car if your bike is down. No one rode to the first meet because it was raining.

I'm down to meet in Fayetteville before we head out. Wanna meet at my place? Everyone knows how to get there.

Oh yeah, check out how ugly I made my bike.

I'm gonna leave the luggage rack on all the time, but the sissy bar is only going on if Abby goes on a long ride with me.

Wixil, you have to drill a decent width and depth as the threads are distorted where they were peened. Not sure how much as I screwed mine up. Look around the forum. I know it can and has been done.

Are you guys meeting there or meeting someplace and riding there. I think my wife wants to attend and possibly my daddy.

Ditto what Radam said. I plan to walk the whole way though.

Your place is fine.

8:45 sound good? That should still give us enough time to make it out (or make out) to the Cafe.

The rack doesn't look too bad. Different directionals out back now?

I think you should walk. It would be more environmentally friendly.

8:45 works for me.

"Different directionals out back now?" What? Turn signals? I haven't changed anything other than putting on the rack.

I've been trying to keep my eyes off of CL since I bought this stupid house. Bike projects are on hold for quite a while now by the look of things. Maybe August I'll be up and running again....

Very nice, Brad. I'll tell you like I tell everyone else who says my house is in the ghetto. If that's the ghetto of Fayetteville, I'm glad I live in Fayetteville.  ;D

Did any of you guys get to make it out to the vintage bike show in Bella Vista last Saturday?

Met up with Brad Green Uno around noonish there. Hot as hell, but there were some nice bikes there.

Yeah, I know. I was telling someone where I live yesterday and they said, "Oh, you mean you live in the holler."  ::)

Derick, I wanted to go to that, but my sister had her baby. It's funny because I've had a lot of people say, "now you're an uncle!" My other sister has two kids.

I actually didn't even know it was going on until Brad number one called me up.

PS

Congrats on living in the holler, and also for the new family addition.
