I did not find them neither. According to Sean (scondon) no one makes new valves for 78 F (and K ?). I have seen someone selling on E-bay new standard and oversized guides for this model ...
if it ain't broken it does not have enough features yet..

To tell the truth a Kibblewhite 33.5mm intake (oversize early K) valve will fit on the F2 seat(originally a 34mm valve). You could cut down the diameter on a 32mm Kibblewhite intake to 31mm and use it on the exhaust too. Seeing how the valves start as blanks a late style keeper groove could be cut into the valve. Personally I'd recommend early style Kibblewhite or APE Titanium retainers and springs. I wonder if this is what M3 does???

I just bought a valve spring compressor; got the valve, and now the valve seems to be sliding fairly respectably, so i guess I'm going to put it back together and see what happens. But, just for posterity, does anyone know what other heads would work on a 78 750f? don't want to spend a fortune, just want it to work. weather is finally breaking and want to save some money on gas and enjoy the bike.

I bought the spring compressor from Sears for $14.99 i looks sort of like a pulley puller. It worked just barely. >:(  For $19.99 they should of had one that looked more like a vise grip c-clamp (according to their web-sight), but did not. If you have a choice, get the one for $19.99 because my brother had one that i used for the first teardown and it worked out beautifully.  8) The $14.99 one sucks a#%.

Just my opinion. And as we all know opinions are like a-holes; everyone got one and thinks theirs dosn't stink.

The Kowa Seiki spring compressor is very nice (meaning not cheap)...it's what I use. If you use it alot it pays for itself. You shpould price out the plastic inserts that ride on the retainer. Holy #$%*  :o...the price brought tears to my eyes!
