Topic: CB rear axles?

Hi,
Anyone know the rear axle dimensions for the CB400F,
I am buildinga cafe racer using a CB650 swingarm but CB400F spoked wheels I need a rear axle that is M16 x 300mm in length?


If anyone has any old axles off old CB's could you measure em up and give me a clue please?

Would I get away with using a high grade high tensile hex bolt?

The 400F and 350F axles are 17mm diameter, the thread fot the nut is M16. the length is 275mm.
