Part it Out, or Sell it Complete?
« on: March 05, 2011, 09:20:21 AM »
Like many on the forum I have a "Yard Sculpture" that is past due to get finished. I have come to the realization that even if I make the time to finish it, I don't have the time to play w/it!  :'(
It is 90%-95% finished and has lots of very interesting bits and pieces that I have made to fit together.
I was thinking about taking it to the Vintage Races this Spring at Sears point and see what kind of interest is there.

Any thoughts or suggestions?  TIA

You've asked for advice, but you've given us almost NO information about the bike, or where it is, or cosmetic shape, or mileage, or MODEL...just sayin.

If you don't have time to finish it, then you don't have time to "part it out".

Just sell it.

You have to make time, no excuses.

Seriously, you can't be that busy or you would not have been on the 'net starting this thread.

Sounds as if you are bored w/it.

My 78 55K has been w/me for over 2o yrs. It has lasted longer than several relationships. LOL
Since I started this project, I have found a new passion. I'm coming back from and injury. After gathering and fitting parts for years, I have come to the point that I don't have the time to finish the project let alone ride it.

Back to my orignal question: Part it out or sell.
I think it has been answered by two tired.
