ohhh. haha. yeah i remember having that problem now too. i just copy and pasted his number to get around that. and i emailed him directly too.

Morrettidirect@aol.com

i emailed him a few questions including what's the price. all he said back was "i'll try to get you some photos". that was a few days ago.

He has foam for a 76 550F! I saw a pic!

But I had the same problem... he never gave me a price! And we exchanged a dozen emails over the course a few months!  I was ready to pay him and everything... but eventually I just tore my hair out.

It was probably my fault.. some kind of cultural miscommunication... idk.

Well I don't like that kind of service so I will look elsewhere.

This is kinda funny...

I just got an email back from Morretti Ltd. All it says is, "Seats are different in Europe and the USA, so will send you a photo of both models I have so you can make the Decision."

There's two pictures attached. I'm pretty sure they are just the F and K models. I'm confused a little. Maybe he means that F models in the US were different than F models in Europe, which would be interesting.

I would say that he means that the "F" and "K" models are different and he wants to know which one you want. To save any confusion just send him the picture of one you want. It is obvious that he has both seats so just send him back the right picture, orange bike for the "F" seat and red bike for the "K".....

I should've included in that post that I told him I wanted the F model seat in both emails. He probably is just stupid-proofing the sale.

I ordered a seat cover from this place for my cb400f

http://www.siriusconinc.com/product.php?parent_id=36&start=0

when it arrived, i was a tad skeptical but once fitted and stretched into place it turned out great.

here is a pic.

the downside (not much of one) is that on on my model, you will want to pick up your own lock/push washers...the ones they send are worthless...but thats like a buck at home depot....

plus this place is canadian...and everyone knows canadians are friendly eskimoes

They don't make CB550 covers, but they do have a trim and bolt set for CB750's.

"Foam cover and trims would be £85 shipping is usually about £35 but will check today." - Morretti

I never heard back from him, and I lost interest.. as I dumped my girlfriend. I'm sure if you just stay on top of him, as I had to, you can get what you want.

FWIT here is my seat cover from taiwan. It's a great heavy material and fits like a glove.

Duanob...I'd suggest dumping that chrome trim on the base as it is having a spoiling effect on a very nice seat cover. It looks superb quality. Don't use U channel if you are. Get L channel from an auto trimmer. Cheap as - cost me less than $10 for a good length. Comes with very strong adhesive strip to fasten to face.

That's not going to happen. It looks fine in real life and glued on things are not a good idea in Seattle, too much rain and moisture.

Mine works fine here in seattle.

My U channel trim peeled right off.. but the stick on one is great so far.
And I ride year round.

But I dont think yours looks so bad...

had good feedback and shipping with tracking number was $18 so I figured it was worth it and it was. The only thing I need to source is strap buckles. But that can wait.
