My new toy...
« on: April 03, 2006, 01:37:46 PM »
Well Guys,
The K1 project has had a setback.
I traded the Shadow on a CB1300 last week and there's no money left at present to continue.
Bugger!
It doesn't matter though, there's no rush and no-one pushing me to finish it.

The 1300 is amazing and we will do lots of km's together.

I'm also still collecting parts for the K2 project, so that keeps me occupied in my "spare time"

It doesn't get any better than this.

ProTeal, How's your bike coming/ I've been curious about that look that you've going for. I hope to use ideas from your bike & several others, if you guys don't mind. I especially like your handlebars and switch ideas. Since I hope to be riding quite a bit, I don't really want to go the lowered front w/ a 21" wheel. Later on, Bill :) ;)

Ed,
you're a scary man, aren't you...
(your avatar proves it)

It's more like the other bikes can't get close to me now...

Actually, there's a set of stairs between my bike and the others -
which belong to some people i was riding with that day
we left room for people to use the stairs
(we're such nice people you know)

sat on the verandah - had lunch and a drink or 2
it doesn't get any better

Ah...what a life! You make it sounds so nice, compared to the drudgery of the work week! Can't wait for Friday! ;D

Well it's already Thursday afternoon here in Oz, and all of us God fearing Aussie Christians are preparing for the Easter long weekend where we get both Friday and Monday off work, so we can get a chance to ride and wrench on our bikes. As Brooksey says, "It doesn't get any better than this!" Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

That 1300 is looking good there brookesy and actually, I figured those other bikes had
backed off and were admiring yours. At least that's what I figured.  Later on, Bill
