New guy from the central coast of Ca.
« on: March 06, 2011, 02:00:49 PM »
Hello all,

I have been lurking for awhile and thanks for all the info you guys provide.  I recently picked up a free 78 CB750F that I will be doing a bunch of work to.  It isn't going to remain stock(sorry) but it won't get the full cafe treatment either.  My background is in vintage Italian scooters and hotrods.  I have a fair amount of experience as a wrench both shadetree and professionally.   I hope to hang around for a bit and thanks for your time.

Billy

Welcome! Think you'll have your bike on the road by the end of April? Have you heard about the SOHC4 World Tour? It should be going through SLO about that time, on it's way north towards the bay area. Join the fun!!! :D
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Yeah its got a title with a current non-op.  Runs pretty ok, with little knock in the bottom end somewhere(another thread started on that).  I sure hope it is rolling regurally by the end of april, and I would love to jump in for a short bit of the ride.  I will post photo's when I figure out how, although she is nothing great to look at right now.
Thanks,
Billy
