hello, could anyone tell me if the shocks off an '80 cb750f can be disassembled relatively easy? i found a pair cheap but they need to be cleaned up/coated. thanks for any help

Most shocks will come apart fairly easily but you need to compress them--then unscrew the thing.
Be careful--if your compression technique is a little sketchy and they uncompress at the wrong time--bad things can happen.

you mean to take them apart and rebuild them?
i think someone found a way to rebuild the remote res ones from the DOHC but it was alot of work
