'76 CB750K choke lever keeps flipping up (and on) while riding

not sure why this is happening. everything on this bike is stock. the chock works fine when i use it. this doesnt happen when i hit noticeable bumps or anything. it just seems to flip up at random while im riding. its easy enough to just flick down, but its distracting and annoying. any ideas why this would be happening?

I have a 78 so mine is a little different my choke knob is up at the indicator lights it has a nut just below the knob that you tighten up to create friction on the cable. I would think you may have something to tighten up maybe someone with a older style choke will chime in so here is a bump.
