Hey there, glad to join this group!

Sold my '74 CB360T last year (very plain) and this last Fall found a solid original Varnish Blue '75 CB400F - Winter work for Spring and Summer fun. Cleaning and cosmetics so far as it is in complete, running condition, with excellent original exhaust (and muffler!) and pretty much everything else. So it's clean, paint, re-assemble, tune, adjust, update etc. for the time being. I am decent with a wrench but not deep technically, and not deep in motorcycle restoration or repair. Aim is to have a solid classic with tasteful updates - not a full-on cafe rebuild, not a museum piece either.

You will hear from me as challenges reveal themselves. For now I will lurk and learn, and of course post some photos and details and updates. I don't want to core dump my project to-do's just yet  :)

Lastly, many of you in USA or California may have seen the '75 CB400F on craigslist up in Chico, California back in November '10. I got it for 500.00.

cheers, jim

Hey Jim. I'm over in San Rafael. We'll have to get together some time for garage night.

Let's see a pic!
