to chrome spokes or not?
« on: April 04, 2006, 03:39:27 PM »
Hi gang!  I'm at the point where I need to make a decision on rather to chrome plate my stock Honda spokes (at a coust of about $2.00 per  or $160 total for both whees) or buy new spokes from Bucchanans.  Does anyone know the pros and cons of each choice?  It seems that it would be easier and cheaper to chrome the originals, but I'm just making sure.

Also, I stupidly purchased a new set of the shorter spokes meant for the smaller rim (Harley I believe) that I will never use (couple of years ago on ebay). I didn't realized these were not stock.  Anyone want to make an offer or trade before I relist them on ebay?  I'm at pelicanwheel@hotmail.com

Thanks,

Pelican
