Topic: Pocket Rocket: fun or waste of time?

So, I notice these craigslist posts all the time for these little pocket rockets for real cheap. http://fayar.craigslist.org/mcy/2257803567.html I was just wondering how many of you may have experience with these things. The only one I've been on had a lot of extras and would go 50mph+. I had fun with it, but I wouldn't spend much cash on one. If I do get one I'll probably just fix it up, play with it a while, then sell it. So, let me know what you all have done with these. (pics are always great)

I rode 1 once. If you do not mind you knees by your ears and precarious balancing, I suppose it might be fun. Just too small for me though.

Dont do it!!!! iv had 3 they have all broken at the welds within the first week. they dont have suspension they are ridged. i had the steering tube snap on me and did a face plant. unless they are the new ones that have a clutch and 3 gears its not worth it throwing away money.

just like everything else, there are good ones and #$%* ones. most you see on cl are the #$%* ones, better off finding a ysr, more go-fast parts and most states will still let you plate them...

Gordon, I knew if I put "You're an idiot" up there it would be one of the most popular choices. I mean, I am talking about "toy" bikes on an sohc4 forum. I just thought that some of the people on here would have played with these before. Roach gave me the answer I was looking for. I like some of the "nicer" ones in the pics, but I'm not gonna burn that much money on a toy when I still need to do work on my F3. I just thought it would be fun and help me when I work on my weed eater.
