My name is John, located in East Texas.  I'm 24, and I am crazy about old Hondas.  I have a 1976 CB750F that is missing some shtuff and has a bent frame.  I bought it a few years ago wrecked.  All I did was put some bars on it, replace the alternator cover and points and ride the piss out of it for about half a year, then I parked it to try to restore it.  These old 750's aren't cheap, so it sat.  I plan on finally reviving it this spring after a couple of years of down time.

I'm in Tyler.  Yeah, it is funny steering it sometimes but if you keep it steady and just run it, it will still corner no problem.

Tyler has a bad memory for me-a very good friend moved there with her husband and children.  He was a school teacher in Tyler and while teaching he corrected a student.  The father took exception to that and came in and stabbed him, he eventually died and left my friend a single mom with a couple children.

I'd still like to see a photo of the frame...Larry

Every once in a while, one will pop up around here for sale. Theres this parts bike in Austin http://austin.craigslist.org/mcy/2175253854.html

But everything here is expensive. Its best to ignore guys in the north east when you see how little they find a parts bike for. Just add a 0 and ignore the cold sweats, haha.

Cool.  I haven't gotten any pics yet.  Been busy trying to raise the cash to bring her back.....  I sorta got it running, though.  I'm gonna need to rebuild/rejet the carbs and do a valve job before it runs good.
