Another Project 1969 CB350 Twin Project. "Alice" FINISHED

Well, as the title reads I find myself working on yet another bike. I really think i have a sickness.....

I fitted a benelli 360 tank to the frame and welded on some mounting brackets.

Cut off all the tabs and welded in plates for component relocation

Put some new rings in the motor although it only had 7K miles on it. Painted the motor and polished the covers. I cut some vents into to sproket cover, it just looked too plain.




I also cut vents into the front and rear brake housings and make some aluminum vent covers.

The seat is from hotwingglass.com. Its a great seat at a great price. Its very similar to the airtech "bates" seat  but the glass is a little thicker; not to mention it was $70 cheaper. Airtech wanted $32 to ship a seat, what a rip off. $193 for a seat? they're out of their mind. We're in a recession here, LOL :D

It's the road race 1. Its only 8.75 inches at the widest point, not 9 as the website states. I cut about 4 inches off from the front.

Wouldn't you know it, as soon as i finished i found my brass screen.  :D Oh well i'm not taking them apart, I like the black screens.
I'm thinking metallic tangerine with gold flake for the frame (AKA mitsubishi orange).

the carb diaphram covers were shot. so i wrapped them in carbon.

Your paint looks great!
Is it a urethane metallic basecoat with clear?

Carbon is all sorts of wrong on a vintage cafe. Other than that, seriously nice work man. Inspiration for my 350 twin build that seems to be stalled.
