How to pull a douchey move
« on: March 13, 2011, 02:12:08 PM »
come on the forum with zero posts and say your parting out a bike, when someone asks you for a part tell them you have it, it works and you can ship it to them. then the next day sell it to someone else.

all the crap ebay sellers list parts as "junk" and "dont buy this part" but list it at a price of what a working part would go for. DONT EVEN LIST IT IN THE MOTORCYCLE PARTS if its junk.

i was just happy i thought i could get a part for what it was worth and know that it was in working condition. my honda dreams temporarily shattered till next paycheck.

@roach no i didnt pay for anything. when i tell someone im going to sell to them they have the first crack at it, if someone else comes along ill let whomever i talked to first know before the part gets sold.

I recommend post whoring it up in the SSDB to get a reputation around here.  That way sellers will know you are el stupido and want to sell you stuff for too much money.  Worked for me.  ;D

Hey!  We have standards at the SSDB.  Your posts there will be ignored if you have less than 100, except the occasional drink order.  And there are several KINDS of stupidity, and the kind seen at the SSDB is a requirement.

Maybe there should be some sort of post minimum for selling stuff here.  As RR pointed out, post count is not always a sign, but it might weed out a majority of a$$holes.
