CB500T Tank fit on CB350F? Having hard time finding a Tank
« on: April 09, 2011, 05:51:34 PM »
2 Weeks ago I purchased my first motorcycle. A 1973 CB350F. It was someone else's project, and I have almost 2 of everything, including 2 Motors!

Well, the Tank that came with the Bike is a CB750. It does not clear the Coils, and is rather large for such a small bike. I attempted to buy a CB350F Tank off Ebay, but did not win it. I have continued to look for the CB350F Tank, but have not seen another one for sale since.

I noticed the CB500T Tank has the same "knee" indents on the side of tank. My question is, does the CB500T fit on the CB350F, whether its a direct fit or some "slight" modding need to be done. And if no, what other tanks fit the CB350F?

Thanks for all your help! Let me know if I posted in the wrong section since I am new.

The only tank I can think of that will plop right on will be the 400f tank, but then i think(?) there will be issues with the 350f seat. Not sure. I would say try and sell the 750 tank to fund a good 350 tank.
