Dave has been amazing! He has come over a handful of times and spent hours of his own time helping me with carious problems on the bike. I really appreciate him donating his time, tools and resources.

I was wondering if there was anyone else who would be interested in stopping by to lend a hand. As mentioned, I have a 1976 CB550f that is close to ready, at least I believe she is. Here are some of the areas that I am looking for some help on.

1. installing new controls that I bought and checking my wiring work
2. rebuilding forks
3. Installing new 4 - 2 exhaust ( i have a broken stud issues as well)
4. replace starter ( or eliminate )
5. eventually, install the new sprockets I own and buying and isntalling some new tires
6. i also have a tank with a couple pin holes.....not sure what to do there.

I have a two car garage, so space is not an issue. I can offer beer, or cash.

I am looking to get this bike on the road for April, so i need as many spare hands as possible.

let me know if you, or anyone you know can help.

thanks

wow, posted on two forms, and not one reply.

One of the reasons I decided to rebuild a vintage machine was the sense of community. There was a great deal of support, and people going out of their way to help others. I am hoping I can get lucky and find someone willing to help a new guy live and learn.

On the other side, if anyone knows of a mechanic/shop that will do house calls, please post.

thanks
