I have a 1977 cb750k with 4 into 1 exhaust and k & n pod filters. I am running 130 main jets and stock pilot jets 35. Initially I had my needle clip set in the middle position (three up from the bottom). The bike sounded good and ran good but I believed it had more performance than what it was putting out (no exhaust pop). I decided to pull the carbs and move the needle clip down one to second from the bottom in order to get more fuel. Now the bike runs very strong and it is very quick, the performance is there but I am getting an exhaust pop at idle and when coming off the throttle. It is not a backfiring sound but a pop pop sound. I was wondering if you guys had any opinions on what I should do to clear this? The pilot screw is set at one turn out. Thanks
