Ugly ass 550 chopper

Heres a 550f chopper for sale close to me. To me this is probably the ugliest sohc4 I've ever seen. This guy had this advertised about 2 weeks ago with first offer over €2000 secures, then it went down to €1800 and now it's gone down to €1650. He obviously isn't getting much interest, I wonder why ??? ;D I'm guessing he was probably a fan of American Chopper. He's even using the stock pegs, I'd say your knees would be up around your ears when your sitting on this, he could have at least put more forward controls on it or something.

Just wanna see what other peoples opinions are of this, is there anyone on here who actually would like this?

Hmm not the most elegant looker, looks positively dangerous to the rider, it appears to be about a metre (yard) longer than stock so would be a #$%* to turn at low speed.
He has put quite a bit of work and $$ into it, probably a damn good motor that one of us could make better use of. ;D

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

You think that is an ugly chopper???  This was mine years ago but the wife made me sell it cause she didn't think it was safe...
Yes, I put lots of miles on that thing.  No, I don't think it was the best bike ever but I sure did love it.

Reminds me of the fact that as a collective group ie: motorcycle riders we are supposed to be inividuals in our pursuit of the fun and joy of "the ride". And not give a furry rat's ass what others think.

that's why Triumph's ad slogan "is go your own way".

I cannot imagine riding that chopper.  The difference between the stock 550 and a stock 650 is enough for me.

There is obviously a lot of time and money in that bike but I sure wouldn't want to ride it ::). Maybe it should have a sign, "Caution this vehicle makes wide turns ".  However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, to each his own, that's why there is vanilla and chocolate, etc...Larry

This.

That 550 is not the most heinous thing I've seen, by FAR.

I can see where not everyone would care for the aesthetics, but to call it the ugliest SOHC4 goes to far imho.

The Smurf comes to mind.  Who remembers that bike?   ;D

Haahahahahahaaaa!!!!  I had forgotten about that poor thing.  That was truly one of the ugliest machines of any kind I have ever seen.. Had nightmares for weeks after seeing that post.  "No, Papa Smurf!  No!... Help me......."

I agree with to each his own and beauty is in the eye of the beholder and sure everybody has different tastes, I suppose there could be much worse than this alright  :D

Cvillchopper, i would not be a fan of your chopper either but again to each his own and if you like it then that's all that matters.
