Good on ye.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Finally got the electrical panel welded up, aluminum standoffs and battery holder with straps etc. Wanted to weld threaded standoffs instead off having bolts being visible underneath the hoop/rear wheel. I will anodize the whole thing black.

I'm glad we're both "taking our time" ;-)
Mine is slowlyyyyyy coming along too. By my estimation, when we finish our projects, the drought will be over and we'll have to wait!

Hello,
I'm wondering about your swingarm mod; how far can the suspension go up before the added support tubes hit the frame? I may be doing something similar and am considering putting the support tube at the bottom to avoid the possibility of interference.

Let me try to do that for you, it will take me a while as the bike is in bits. I am planning to do a fit check of many parts before powder coating within the next 2-3 weeks.

Fantastic job on the electronics tray.

Just got my wheels all laced up.  I went with 17"'s front and rear. Better choice of tires etc.  Beautiful gloss anodizing, stainless spokes and 150mm wide tire for the rear :)

Hi Godffery,

I finally got to mock up the rear swing arm I had made on the frame with the Ohlins shocks.  The un-sprung travel to where the hoop touches the frame is 130mm or 5.1".  My frame builder guy www.btrmoto.com knows his stuff  :)

Holy crap.  I just checked out the BTR webpage.  The opening page shows a frame the guy made for Arlen Ness to house a 3-cylinder (V-3 if that's possible) motor.  Crazy looking engine!

My buddy Curt that owns BTR Moto has many years of frame building experience as he did do special R&D projects for Ness many years ago.  Today, he keeps busy with full bike builds and also small modifications, just like the swing arm modification on my Cafe etc.  His engineering skills  are awesome and his welding fillets are so pretty they are almost like a robot made them.

I pulled a favor to get one CNC'd. I didn't get it quoted to reproduce more....

It's the programming for the first unit that costs. Duplicates should help you recover the cost of programming  ;) The material is cheap too.

I was thinking that too. So the copies should cost peanuts.  ;D

All true guys! But as i said, i pulled in a favor so programming, time and material was $0. Cheaper than peanuts  :)

What's key is getting a hold of CB650 cam tensioners.
